Jupiter Arrives in the Solar Temple

Jupiter in Leo 2026.
Jupiter has a 12 year cycle spending about a year in each sign, taking 12 years for Jupiter to return to any given sign. The last time Jupiter was in Leo was 2014 if you want to do some reflection on any early correspondences.
The Sun rules Leo but Jupiter & Saturn are the sect mates of the Sun, so there’s an…understanding with these three sky baddies.
When Jupiter was in Leo in 2014, Saturn was in Scorpio, a Mars ruled sign. In 2026, Jupiter entered Leo with Saturn in Aries, the other Mars ruled sign. The difference for this Leo season and 2014’s Leo season is that the 2014 Sun was copresent with Jupiter while it was squaring Saturn in Mars’ temple. This time around, Leo season consists of the Sun copresent with Jupiter while they are trining Saturn in Mars’ temple. The Sun, ruler of Leo, exalts in Aries and the triplicity rulers of Leo (all fire signs) are The Sun, Jupiter & Saturn.
If the Sun is the dad in Leo, Jupiter & Saturn are the beloved, if scary sounding uncles. They’re loud and daring, they ask you out of the blue demanding questions that cause you to question too many things at once. They rattle your beliefs but you grow with such tremendous maturity by the end of those questions. Jupiter & Saturn make you laugh like no other, the brightest jokes cutting to the biggest truths. We see this in Leo Season.
It’s Tio Season.
I say all of this because the condition of Jupiter and the Sun are incredibly strong during Leo and especially this decan. There is fiery flow during this time, acceleration, speed and sky baddie growth. The Uncles are loud.
What fuel is being fed to your inner Leo? Have you been challenged during Leo I when Saturn was the Uncle barking sarcasm at you? Leo II with Uncle Jupiter will be jovial but as demanding. What fires are being lit and danced around? Is your head on straight? Get on your horses and ride.

The Wheel of Fortune (Jupiter) & The Sun (Leo)
Decan Transit:
Jupiter has gone through its cazimi with the Sun during Leo I and will be under the solar beams during this entire decan. Jupiter regains visibility during Leo III. While it may be combust & under the beams of the Sun it will engage with a good deal of the sky during its decan reign. Jupiter will be separating from an opposition to Aquarius Pluto, a trine from Aries Neptune & a sextile to Gemini Uranus at the onset of this decan. At the end of the decan, it will be in an applying sextile to Venus in Libra, a trine to Saturn & copresent with Mercury at the moment of the Leo New Moon Eclipse.
The Aries Moon will trine Jupiter on August 3, Taurus Moon will square Jupiter on August 5 & Gemini Moon will sextile Jupiter on August 7. The Moon & Jupiter will be conjunct on August 11 where six out ten planets are in FIRE signs. This senses to be the peak fiery moment of the summer, when the Moon joins up with Jupiter as it is dying in an eclipse moment in Leo.
Natal Chart Consideration:
In your own chart, look to see if you have any planets or points in 10°00' - 19°59’ Leo. The Sun will be traveling through & activating these degrees. Also consider if you have your natal Jupiter in aspect to 10°00’ - 19°59’ Leo: Jupiter in Aquarius will oppose the Sun; Jupiter in Sagittarius & Aries will trine the Sun; Jupiter in Scorpio & Taurus will square the Sun; Jupiter in Gemini & Libra will sextile the Sun.

If time is a wheel always turning, imagine yourself on the top of the wheel. What does it look like from that view?
How do you balance these two things together: personal significance and connection with others. Can you stand apart and stay connected in a sense of belonging?
Can you bridge these two things in service? If you are doing the work that is best for your soul, how can you light it up for others to see? Recognizing your own personal significance allows you to contribute that gift to others. What are the gifts others say they are thankful of you for? That’s your legacy.

You can also cook an elaborate favorite meal on this Thursday and offer the first plate to Jupiter before you eat.
